Healing Drum Making Workshop
Learn the basic technique of drum making and caring & feeding the spirit of the drum.
By creating a sacred space, art meditation, nature meditation and shamanic journeying we are able to learn about the spirit of our drum, our gifts as healers, how to heal self and others with our drum and the spirit helpers working with us in this way.
Through ceremony, meditation, exploration of your drum and the dressing of your drum, a healing & power song natural flows.
My Healing Drum Process
The creation of my healing drum was an incredible transformational process. As I worked on my drum, the pain and sorrow melted out of my heart and through my hands. During the process I was made aware of many things:
My healing medicine of the west
My healing animal spirit the bear
What needed healing: Unloved.
The result, a beautiful drum and song was created. Both of which reminds me of my walk in the life-How I change water into wine, sorrow into happiness, abandonment into acceptance, unloved into love.

Responsibility Drum
This drum was created with the intent of taking full responsibility for my life. Transforming chaos into harmony is earned wisdom. The drum is made out of Buffalo hide. The Buffalo represent community harmony. I have become aware that everything I draw into my life is an opportunity for me to heal and love myself and others. This drum helps me to do this. The design on the drum reminds me of my eternal dance with Source. When I drum it is the heart beat of Mother Earth. The song I sing comes from love and is sung to Creator. Creator washes away any unwanted thoughts or actions that are causing choas in and around me. It is most profound. I find the process aligns me with my Higher Self, Creator and Mother Earth. This drum is bringing me home.
